           On 19.03.2011 Inter Collegiate competitions were conducted .A lot of preparations were done ahead of time to inform and invite the participants, the chief guests and judges. The following local colleges participated:

1.       Crescent College of Education,

2.       K.L.N. College of Education,

3.       C.S.I College of Education,

4.       KAPI College of Education,

5.       S.V.N College of Education,

6.       Mannar Thirumalai Naicker College,

7.       Madura College.

The  competitions conducted were :

1.Extempore,

2.Art from waste,

3.Painting,

4.Verse writing.

                Dr.Arunan of Tamilnadu Murpokku Ezhuthalar Kalaingarkal Sangam, Presided over the valedictory function and in his speech he emphasized the need to change the teaching methodology according to the current trends. and he addresses that a teacher should update oneself continuously to retain the prestigious status as teacher.

                Kavingar M.Chella, in his speech stressed that all activities, which are useful to life, is to be considered as art.

                Sr.Amali our Principal gave the key note address to the function.

                Rev.Sr.amirtham, the Superior of the convent distributed the certificates to all the participants of the competitions. Dr.Arunan distributed the prizes and certificates to the winners.

                Sr.Amali, the Principal conferred the trophy to St.Charles College of Education for emerging as the best college with the higherst scores.

                The valedictory function came to an end with National Anthem.
